I need help should I date this guy or no?

I met this great guy. he treats me great.. just one problem he's a dropout... he did it for family reasons and he is taking ged cl.. is this something I should try for? he doesn't know what kind of job he wants. he's been just working in his grandpas store. (which is basically like a tool shop place.) what do you all think.
