Trying to divide my gerbils.?

okay so ive been told that my 2 female gerbils are pretty much at 100% being pregnant. and ive been told that i need to divide them so they dont fight. i get that but the thing is i dont have the money and wont till the last days of feb. or early march and i really dont want to wait it out and put my gerbils at risk for fighting so is there a way to make a temperory divider till i get the money?
