Why does Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway lag badly on my PC?

I recently got the game BIA HH but the game is lagging badly! When i open up the game ubisoft logo and gearbox works perfectly with no lag at all but after that the menu lags and when i start the game it lags REALLY BADLY! I changed the resoultion as low as possible but that barely helps. Please help me!!!!!
